Terms and Conditions

Effective date: February 05, 2019

Welcome to PassHub!

Thanks for using our products and services (“Services”). The Services are provided by WWPass, a New Hampshire corporation located at 9 Trafalgar Sq., Suite 240, Nashua, NH 03101, United States (“WWPass”).

By using our Services, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Using our Services

You must follow any policies made available to you within the Services.

We do not offer any warranties, our Service is “as is” and you may use it at your own risk. You are solely responsible for compliance with all laws and regulations in any jurisdiction where you access PassHub.

In order to use our Services, you will need both a PassHub and WWPass Key account (“Account”). Any attempts to gain unauthorized access to another user’s Accounts, or to the cloud-based IT systems where PassHub operates, are prohibited, and violators will be prosecuted to the full extent allowed under Federal and State laws.

If you are a "white hat" ethical hacker and would like to personally experience the full strength of PassHub security, you are welcome to contact us at pentest@passhub.net. We welcome friendly pen-testing and opportunities to make PassHub even more secure. Since PassHub is completely free, we are not offering a bug-bounty program at this time. Any hacking attempts without our explicit authorization are considered hostile and will be referred to law enforcement.

Some of our Services are available on mobile devices. Do not use such Services in a way that distracts you and prevents you from obeying traffic or safety laws.

Your PassHub Account

Your account is your own and only you may access it using either a WWPass Key or with the free WWPass Key mobile app. Without your WWPass Key or WWPass Key App, it is impossible for anyone (including the team at PassHub or WWPass), to access your account. By design, you may have only one account per WWPass Key keyset or WWPass Key App, but you may have multiple safes within that account and you may store the credentials to many accounts within each safe. We reserve the right to adjust limits on the number of safes per account and credentials stored in each safe at any time.

PassHub Service is for human use only. If we believe that an account was created using automaton such as a computer script, we reserve the right to terminate this account and delete its content.

By design, we do not collect any personal information of PassHub users. We are committed to your privacy and have no backdoors or means to identify users. However, for technical purposes we may collect certain information (like IP addresses) of users when they connect to the service. In case we identify abuse (like a DOS attack), we reserve the right to deny service to anyone.

We store all data in encrypted form within the United States and, for your protection, the encryption keys are stored in the WWPass cloud throughout the globe (to learn more, visit https://wwpass.com).

By design, encrypted data can be decrypted only upon presentation of a WWPass Key or with WWPass Key App and is only available during the uninterrupted web session. This data, after being decrypted, exists only on the client's computer (mobile phone) during the web session and thereafter immediately destroyed. This method is known as “client-side encryption”. Only data specially associated with particular user's account is decrypted. Data kept on server cannot be decrypted.

If you wish to share access to the information contained within your PassHub Account, you may do this by creating safes and sharing them with other PassHub users you know and trust. When your safe is shared, the shared safe will display the name of the person with whom you’ve shared it. If you share your safe with more than one person, each person will be able to see the names of the others. “Name” in this case may be any name provided by the party who has access to the safes. It may or may not be a real name of the user. Under no circumstances can PassHub verify or ascertain the actual identity of any user.

When using a WWPass Key or WWPass Key App to access your PassHub Account, you will need to enter your WWPass Key PIN. This PIN is known only to you and is encrypted in the WWPass distributed data storage system. When you enter your PIN to access any PassHub or any other WWPass enabled website, it goes directly to WWPass without PassHub ever seeing or knowing it. PassHub will never have any record of your PIN. Although WWPass software will prompt you to enter your PIN in order to access PIN enabled sites, PassHub itself will never ask you for your PIN. No one on the PassHub team will ever ask you for your WWPass Key PIN. If someone claiming to work for PassHub requests it (phishing attempt), do not provide it to them – please contact us instead to report them.

No one but you will ever know this PIN, and it is your responsibility to keep your PIN confidential. You are responsible for the activity that happens on or through your PassHub Account. Do not reuse your WWPass Key PIN for other accounts. If you learn of any unauthorized use of your PIN or PassHub Account, contact us.

Some of our Services allow you to upload, submit, store, send or receive content. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content. In short, what belongs to you stays yours.

You may export and download the content you’ve entered in your safe in an encrypted format that can be opened with an encryption key we provide to you and you alone. We are in no way responsible for anything that happens to or as a result of this content once you export it from your account.

You can find more information about how PassHub uses and stores content in the privacy policy or additional terms for particular Services, if and when they become available. If you submit feedback or suggestions about our Services, we may use your feedback or suggestions without obligation to you.

About Software in our Services

PassHub is a web-based Service which does not require any users to download any PassHub software. However, to access PassHub, you will need to download software to use a WWPass Key or WWPass Key App. WWPass is completely responsible for that software, and you should review the WWPass terms and conditions for questions about WWPass software.

Along with PassHub services, we may publish source code of PassHub server as an Opensource project. If somebody wants to implement PassHub on their own local server (similar to one running at https://passhub.net) they may do so by installing PassHub code on their own computer. Use of the code is regulated by https://opensource.org/licenses/MITMIT license

Setting up PassHub on your local server requires subscription to the WWPass authentication service, which can be obtained from WWPass at https://developers.wwpass.com
